Minneapolis-based telemedicine company vRad was recently awarded a three-year contract to provide radiology services to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (VA NWIHCS). The company will deliver on-demand coverage and final interpretation of radiology examinations performed throughout the network, which serves more than 54,000 veterans in 101 counties of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.
“We have long-standing relationships with a number of federal health systems, and we are pleased to add VA NWIHCS to that growing list,” said Jim Burke, president and CEO of vRad. “As a former Marine, I know I speak for all vRad team members, including the 45 veterans on our medical and operational teams, that we are especially proud to support our client partners providing critical health services to the men and women who have served our country.”
