Medical image management provider Trice Imaging Inc, San Diego, Calif, has appointed Bernd Nuber as senior vice president of business development, dealing with global sales, industry partnerships and product development.

Nuber, who brings more than 20 years of experience in medical documentation and ultrasound workflows, was founder of ViewPoint, an ultrasound image management software that was acquired by General Electric (GE) in 2002. Nuber has led GE’s global ultrasound IT platforms as general manager and global marketing manager, deploying multisegment solutions in obstetrics and gynecology, radiology, and echocardiography across 15 languages and dozens of countries.

“Bernd is one of the most seasoned executives in our industry, and we are honored to have him lead our growing team of dedicated world-class mobile imaging innovators,” said Asa Nordgren, chief executive of Trice Imaging. “We believe that in the foreseeable future all imaging devices will be connected to the cloud.
