Medical equipment manufacturer Quantum Medical Imaging, Ronkonkoma, NY, has installed a Q-Rad-DIGITAL DRX Radiographic System at Saint Alphonsus Joint Preservation and Reconstruction Clinic in Boise, Idaho.
The sale and installation was facilitated by Turn-Key Medical Inc, Meridian, Idaho, a certified Quantum/Carestream dealer.
Saint Alphonsus recently celebrated the grand opening of the Joint Preservation & Reconstruction Clinic, its newest addition to the larger Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus. The new clinic will include the latest in joint preservation and reconstruction technologies, with specialized techniques used in patients with cartilage defects. The new Joint Preservation & Reconstruction Clinic also offers services such as minimally invasive total hip and knee replacement, surgical navigation, and knee preservation.
The Q-Rad-DIGITAL DRX Radiographic System features a fully integrated x-ray room that consists of a Quantum 50kW generator and a ceiling-mounted tube support with TechVision. It also has an elevating/float-top radiographic table, digital wall stand, wireless on demand, and a wireless DRX-1C cesium detector, providing lower dose imaging for improved patient care.
