Siemens Healthcare today announced it has donated two SIREMOBIL Compact L mobile surgical C-arms and two SONOLINE Premier Color ultrasound systems to the China Red Cross and the Sichuan Provincial Healthcare Bureau to help in the medical treatment of victims of the May 12 earthquake.
The donation of medical equipment follows the company’s previous cash donation of $160,000.
Additionally, the customer service team of Siemens Healthcare China has established a 24-hour Emergency Task Force that remotely monitors medical equipment at the local hospitals. It has also provided technical support to equipment of all brands in the affected area.
