A new RIS/PACS system is now available from imaging solution providers aycan and medQ, providing an integrated digital imaging and patient management system. aycan workflow is designed for imaging centers and small hospitals that wish to avoid a multi-vendor solution.
“The fully integrated aycan workflow system allows customers to work with just one point of contact for turnkey installation and ongoing support,” said Frank Burkhardt, aycan director of North and Latin American operations. “The joint solution supports the growing demand for an efficient, integrated workflow while lowering costs.”
Additional features include order entry and work lists for front office staff; data local cache preloading of image data for rapid access; voice-recognition and transcription-based dictation options; report macros with manual and automatic prepopulation options; and report export options via email, HL7, and DICOM PDF.
