Toshiba America Medical Systems, Tustin, Calif, has updated its Vitality Solutions portfolio with new CT Vitality software, which enables healthcare networks to manage CT protocols and capture valuable analytics remotely.
The software is available on the company’s Aquilion ONE systems.
Developed to facilitate protocol utilization and dose usage analytics for hospitals and multisite integrated delivery networks (IDNs), the software aims to ensure consistently safe scans. It delivers an optimal CT protocol review and verification process that automatically updates protocols system-wide. Facilities will also have the ability to analyze operator and system metrics to ensure consistent performance and better dose management.
“By offering technology that consolidates protocol management, we are helping hospital networks provide the better, safer patient experience that is a core principle of the Triple Aim of healthcare,” said Satrajit Misra, senior director of the CT business unit at Toshiba.
