SmartMetric’s MedicalKeyring will be released for sale in August 2013. DICOM-ready, the device will help store and distribute medical images, such as CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasound. With it, the entirety of a patient’s imaging files can be brought to a doctor or specialist on a small device carried on the person’s keyring.
