Columbus Radiology announced that it has appointed a new set of leaders.

Frank Castellano, MD, a neuroradiologist with the practice since 2008, began serving as president in June 2013. Additionally, Vikram Krishnasetty, MD, is the newly elected vice president.

During his time at Columbus Radiology, Castellano has served as the quality and improvement safety officer, where he spearheaded numerous initiatives, including developing and serving as lecturer for the group’s continuing medical education course. The course has educated more than 200 physicians to date. Previously, Castellano served Columbus Radiology as corporate secretary and vice president.

Krishnasetty also has been an active leader at Columbus Radiology. In addition to heading the practice’s body imaging section, he has served as the clinical director of information technology. Under Krishnasetty’s leadership, Columbus Radiology implemented an enterprise-wide worklist solution, which has improved patient care, decreased turnaround times and enhanced efficiencies for both the radiologists and hospital clients.
