0.-Ultrasound-Viewed-By-Surgeon-at-Hospital-copy Trice Imaging, San Diego, has announced its first users in France, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, adding to its roster of pre-existing users in the United States, Germany, Sweden, Dubai, and Canada.

The renowned Centre d’Echographie Mère-Enfant, led by Pascale Sonigo, is using Tricefy to enhance patient experience, as well as improve communication and collaboration with referring physicians.

A cloud-based platform to manage and share medical images, studies, and reports, Tricefy mobilizes DICOM medical images directly from the imaging device to any mobile device. The solution gives physicians the ability to instantly share images with patients and colleagues for fast and cost-effective referrals and consultations. Multiple physicians can collaborate on the same patient file simultaneously, and the data can also be accessed from within an electronic health record.

“We are thrilled to be expanding into France, the UK, and Switzerland,” said Bernd Nuber, senior vice president of business development at Trice Imaging. “We are very pleased with the productivity gain and patient satisfaction our customers have achieved in such a short amount of time.”

Sonigo and her team are using Tricefy to serve the women in Paris by sharing images and video clips directly from the ultrasound system to their smartphones, quickly and securely, rather than the traditional method of giving them printouts. Centre d’Echographie Mère-Enfant is also using the system to share best practices and collaborate with other industry leaders.

“The safety and quality of care for our patients is of the utmost importance,” said Sonigo, a leader in ultrasound diagnostics for high-risk pregnancies. “With the Trice technology, we can achieve that superior care by providing expert advice in a secure, efficient, and timely manner. In just seconds we can share the images and videos with patients, who can then share them with their family and friends. This technology allows us to enhance both the patient experience, improve quality of care and the practice’s overall performance and efficiency.”
