Imaging archives are ever-evolving entities. InSite One will spotlight how its InDex Enterprise Archive is moving to the next stage of development during SIIM 2010 in early June.
Among the new features highlighted will be electronic sharing of medical imaging across the continuum of care to go beyond the departmental level and across multiple providers where access to images and diagnostic reports must be available on-demand without the overhead imposed by optical media.
The zero-footprint InDex Archive Viewing Interface will show the integration of the archive portal into clinical applications providing storage as the conduit for the exchange with consistent data representation regardless of source. The combination of InDex’s IHE standards-based, vendor-neutral cloud architecture and Archive Viewing Interface allows for the support of any image or data in a patient’s medical record.
