Imagine Software, a medical billing solutions provider, has released a new application to support offices making the transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10 diagnosis codes. October 1, 2014 is the deadline to implement the switch.

“Imagine Conduit is the answer for administrators who want to give their coders a head start on ICD-10,” said Sam Khashman, president and CEO of Imagine Software. “The Conduit application connects both sides of this transition in a way that is easy to execute and learn from, ultimately taking an ICD-9 HCFA and adapting it to an ICD-10 HCFA, while providing a concrete method for predicting ICD-10 impact on their business.”

The system allows users to convert electronic 837 claim files using current ICD-9 codes to 837 claim files that utilize new ICD-10 codes. Imagine Conduit currently supports 837 Professional claim files using the 5010 format, and future upgrades will include 837 Institutional claim file formatting as well.

The software is available for viewing and download at Imagine Software.
