Hospitals across the nation are focused on improving data collection and management, but so, too, are the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The creation of the Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics (OEDA) is the most recent evidence of CMS’ commitment to improving data collection and dissemination. Niall Brennan, the agency’s first Chief Data Officer (CDO), will be leading the charge.
