“Reina brings fresh perspectives to ACR communications outreach to answer COVID-19 realities, promote advances in radiologic technology and artificial intelligence, emphasize patient safety and highlight our legislative and public policy priorities on Capitol Hill and the state capitals,” says William T. Thorwarth, MD, FACR, ACR CEO. “With her vast experience, particularly in strategic planning, forecasting, and analysis, Reina is well prepared to strengthen and grow ACR’s internal and external voice.”

Munsch has an extensive background in marketing and communications in the association sector, most recently with the Industry Data Exchange Association. Highlights of Munsch’s background include successfully leading branding/rebranding initiatives, increasing external communications placement in industry publications, developing blogs for association leaders, and growing social media engagement.

“The ACR is radiology’s leading organization in promoting high quality, safe, equitable healthcare, and modern medical technology advances,” says Munsch. “I look forward to leading the marketing, public affairs and communications teams to advance ACR’s positive impact on radiology and the patients our members serve.”
