contract_sign - usedTeraRecon, Foster City, Calif, recently announced that Jeff Sorensen will lead the company as president, replacing Venkatraman Lakshminarayan, who served as CFO since 2005 and CEO since 2014.

According to the company, Lakshminarayan has stepped down to pursue other interests. Sorenson joined the company in 2004 and was most recently VP of sales and marketing.

“TeraRecon is unique because it offers a complete and truly vendor-neutral 3D advanced visualization suite, which can be extended to serve the medical image viewing needs of the entire health enterprise,” Sorenson said. “I am excited to serve our valued customers and to drive innovation in this new capacity as president.”

On the heels of three large enterprise iNtuition advanced visualization wins, the company also reported a marked increase in iNteract+ interoperability and enterprise image-enablement projects. In addition, the anticipation of the feature-rich iNtuition software release is driving an increase in software maintenance renewals.
