Memorial Health System, Abilene, Kan, ordered Carestream Vue PACS and its vendor-independent Vue Motion viewer that supports image access from Web-enabled devices. The hospital also purchased Carestream’s Vue Cloud Archive for disaster recovery. Memorial Health System is a critical access hospital in central Kansas, located just south of I-70.
“We selected Carestream’s Vue PACS because it combines ease of use with exceptional functionality and affordable cost,” said Jim Barten, Memorial’s radiology manager. “Carestream’s zero-footprint Vue Motion viewer was also a huge advantage because our physicians want easy access to images and reports, and they do not want to download software and keep up with software upgrades. We believe the image viewer will enhance patient care while building increased physician satisfaction.”
