Siemens Healthcare today announced it has signed an agreement with Cleveland Clinic that allows the not-for-profit, multi-specialty academic medical center to deploy the syngo Dynamics cardiology image management and reporting solution across its various locations.

Under the agreement, the syngo Dynamics deployment will begin in mid-2008, allowing the Cleveland Clinic to move towards becoming completely paperless. The clinic looks forward to enhanced reporting capabilities from the technology’s Digital Structured Reporting and data migration of images and digital conversion of report data acquired at various Cleveland Clinic sites.

Furthermore, the contract calls for the parties to collaborate on future versions of syngo Dynamics.

The Cleveland Clinic expects syngo Dynamics to enable its physicians and staff to read, archive and distribute images and information acquired from more than 90,000 echocardiography procedures, 32,000 cath lab procedures and 59,000 vascular studies each year.
