MedInformatix, based in Los Angeles, has partnered with one of the largest medical imaging companies in Washington State, helping the practice achieve positive results in their revenue cycle management. Inland Imaging, which has been serving patients throughout Washington and Northern Idaho for more than 40 years, implemented the MedInformatix Revenue Cycle Management system in 2017.

“We are very pleased with the results since we made the switch to MedInformatix for our imaging center revenue cycle,” says Steve Duvoisin, CEO at Inland. “Their team has really gone the extra mile to ensure we have a system that meets the unique needs of our practice now and as we continue to grow. The outcomes we are experiencing have exceeded our own expectations.”

Once Inland Imaging decided to bring the imaging center revenue cycle in-house, the firm reviewed several industry options before making their choice for MedInformatix. After a comprehensive vetting process, MedInformatix emerged the winner based on its workflow and automation capabilities. According to Duvoisin, Inland was impressed with the analytic capabilities of the MedInformatix platform, as well as its ability to integrate with his practice’s existing radiology information system. He also noted a shared commitment to customer service between Inland and MedInformatix that helped seal the deal. “Aside from the functional aspects of their technology, both our organizations naturally strive for client satisfaction, and that has made working together a very positive experience,” Duvoisin adds.

While the practice has only been on the MedInformatix platform for about six months, Inland’s results are trending positive. Duvoisin says administrative and accounting workflows have been significantly streamlined resulting in an uptick in collections across the enterprise.

“Inland Imaging is one of the most progressive and innovative radiology practices in the Western United States,” says Pat McGonigle, CEO of MedInformatix. “As a technology company, I appreciate their desire to create new efficiencies that benefit both their patients and their practice. This is where the MedInformatix value proposition really comes into play and we look forward to a productive partnership for many years to come.”
