Carestream Health, Rochester, NY, announced 7 more contracts with U.S. healthcare providers for its various RIS and PACS platforms.
The recent orders were placed from small radiology facilities around the country. For Delta Radiology in Lodi, Calif, a full RIS/PACS was purchased. Claremore Regional Hospital, Claremore, Okla; Deaconess Hospital, Oklahoma City; Estes Park Medical Center, Estes Park, Colo; and Mendocino Coast District Hospital, Fort Bragg, Calif, have all ordered the PACS platform alone.Tift Regional Medical Center, Tifton, Ga, and Diagnostic Outpatient Imaging (El Paso, Texas) purchased the CARESTREAM RIS product.
In its press announcement, Carestream highlighted its PACS PowerViewer tool, which enhances radiologist productivity with rapid, automatic registration and volumetric matching of 3D studies created at different times and by different modalities. Other applications include 3D, vessel and cardiac analysis along with specialized tools for evaluating mammography images.
