Flexible Flat-Screen Mounting Arms from Innovative

The ArcView line from Innovative Office Products Inc (Easton, Pa) is a series of flat-screen adjustable mounting arms that offer flexibility and ergonomic benefits for radiology reading rooms. The arms can suspend two to eight flat-screen monitors. The adjustable arms can be attached to desks, walls, and other surfaces, enabling radiologists to move monitors easily with one hand and view images from different angles. Eastman Kodak Co (Rochester, NY) has launched the DirectView CR 975 system, which is geared toward mid- to high-volume environments. Features include a throughput of more than 100 cassettes (35 x 35 cm) per hour; the ability to handle 16 cassettes at a time (up to eight queued for processing, and eight erased and ready for new studies); convenient cassette loading with improved ergonomics for technologists; and support of a local bar-code reader for improved efficiency.
