Unisyn Medical Technologies, Inc, Golden, Colo, is launching its Ultrasound Probe Conversion, a low cost ultrasound probe replacement program designed as an alternative to probe repairs.
Unisyn is widely known as a diagnostic ultrasound transducer repair service. The company said that its new Conversion service provides customers with low fixed-pricing, zero day repair cycle-times, and premium quality replacement probes that include a 6-month warranty.
“Conversion is a natural evolution of our extensive proprietary probe test and repair technologies, said Christopher Cone, president and COO of Unisyn in the press announcement. “Conversion works at Unisyn because we can repair damaged probes over 90% of the time and because we can interrogate nearly every probe in the installed base using our patented FirstCall aPerio system.”
Unisyn is also the manufacturer of the FirstCall transducer test device and a service and repair provider for patient monitors, as well as other medical imaging devices.
