Sweden-based ContextVision recently showcased two new products, VolarView for handheld ultrasound devices and the Orthopedic Package for radiography.

For the handheld ultrasound market segment, VolarView is designed for efficient implementation on all types of handheld devices, such as smartphone and tablet-based systems. The increased availability of handheld devices extends the use of ultrasound to application areas and users beyond the traditional ones. Responding to the growing need for patient care, ContextVision now offers intelligent image enhancement technology for the full range of ultrasound systems.

Closing a gap in orthopedic imaging, ContextVision’s GOPView XR2Plus Orthopedic package addresses the specific image quality requirements for orthopedic imaging and facilitates low dose exposures with high image quality.

“ContextVision continues to identify unmet technology needs in the image enhancement industry across multiple modalities,” says Fredrik Palm, vice president of ContextVision. “Image quality continues to be of utmost importance for our customers. Our innovations help our customers look ahead with products that enhance the clinical value.”

The company has made significant upgrades to its product portfolio and continues to drive innovation in intelligent imaging software. ContextVision also aims to harness its research in artificial intelligence to advance the radiology industry, improving imaging, diagnoses and patient care.
