Konica Minolta Medical Imaging has introduced the SIGMA II CS-7s computed radiography system, designed to deliver enterprise level imaging to community hospitals, clinics, and private practices. By utilizing the same control station as the Konica Minolta AeroDR wireless flat panel detector, the system aims to optimize economic value with an upgrade path from CR to DR.
Developed to provide fast patient imaging to help improve workflow, the system seeks to maximize patient outcomes, productivity, and return on investment. Standard features include modality worklist, multi-patient/trauma software, and web-link capabilities.
“The SIGMA II CS-7s brings together fast, high quality imaging with advanced functionality that offers the flexibility needed in today’s changing healthcare marketplace,” said Ron Batory, product marketing manager, CR and conventional imaging. “It delivers the performance they need for today while preserving their investment for tomorrow.”
The system includes the REGIUS SIGMA II reader, the CS-7s Control Station and two 14-inch x 17-inch plates.
