Stamford, Conn.-based FujiFilm Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. has earned top ratings in MD Buyline’s User Satisfaction Ratings for several of its digital radiography (DR) technologies and endoscopic systems in the third quarter of 2018. These latest rankings are based directly on input from healthcare providers.

“A few years ago, we set a goal to enhance customer experience. That led to several initiatives including training our engineers to be more interactive with customers and also gaining more input and feedback from customers—and our efforts have paid off,” says Johann Fernando, PhD, chief operating officer of FujiFilm Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. “Fujifilm is gratified to receive this latest and highest recognition from MD Buyline across a wide array of our imaging and endoscopic product portfolio.”

The following Fujifilm technologies were ranked No.1 in their category in the Q3 2018 MD Buyline Report:

  • Portable radiographic systems: Fujifilm’s systems tied for first place across the industry’s portable and mobile systems. Fujifilm’s portable DR systems, such as the FDR Go and FDR AQRO, also ranked highest in two subcategories—service response time and service repair quality.
  • Flat-panel detectors:Fujifilm’s flat-panel detectors, including its FDR Devo II Detectors, tied for first place. The technology scored high marks from healthcare providers for system reliability, applications training, and service response time.
  • Radiographic rooms (single and multi-systems):In this category, Fujifilm systems tied for first place with two other vendors. FDR DEVO Suite II and FDR Visionary Suite are just two of Fujifilm’s in-demand DR room solutions designed to optimize and speed workflow. Healthcare providers who took part in the MD Buyline ratings were particularly impressed with Fujifilm’s system performance, system reliability, installation/implementation, and service repair quality.
  • Endoscopic video system/scope:Fujifilm outranked several industry players—capturing the top rankings in overall user satisfaction. Healthcare providers gave the highest marks to Fujifilm for service response time. In addition, Fujifilm tied with one other vendor for the highest marks in service repair quality and receives MD Buyline’s recognition on the heels of revamping its endoscopy repair center in Wayne, N.J.
