TeraMedica, Milwaukee, a vendor neutral archive (VNA) company, has opened a UK office to service Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The company already has a significant European installed base achieved through an existing global OEM partnership. With the new office, it can now support business directly with regional corporate personnel.

The move follows record revenue growth during 2012 for TeraMedica’s Evercore VNA technology. The company experienced increased sales across all market segments, from private practice specialty groups to academic centers to government health care networks. Additionally, market drivers such as electronic medical record implementation, Meaningful Use Stage II, as well as health information exchanges (HIE), have also contributed to growth of VNA technology.

“Europe represents a large potential market for VNAs, and we wanted to maximize our presence in the area and capitalize on our relationship with our existing distribution partners,” said Eddy Brown, VP of business development for TeraMedica.
