Siemens has released an integrated mobile viewing application, syngo.via WebViewer, for users of its latest syngo.via VA30 image reading software, enabling users to easily and rapidly view images on mobile devices, both inside and outside a hospital setting. The syngo.via viewer is not intended for diagnostic purposes and may be subject to country-specific laws when used on an iPhone or iPad.
“Recognizing the importance and value of efficiency, flexibility, and patient satisfaction, Siemens puts great emphasis on providing solutions that support these demands. Integrating mobile capabilities into its newest syngo.via version attests to this,” said Kurt Reiff, vice president of business management Syngo North America, Siemens Healthcare.
Syngo.via WebViewer users can view images and reports directly on an iPad, encouraging speed and efficiency for time and financial savings. The WebViewer can also be used to discuss diagnosis and treatment options with patients, or to securely transmit images among physicians in a hospital network.
The syngo.via WebViewer is available from iTunes or through Siemens.
