Online registration has opened for the Society of Interventional Radiology’s 40th Annual Scientific Meeting Feb. 28 to March 5, 2015, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The meeting allows interventional radiologists, diagnostic radiologists, fellows, trainees, and related health care professionals to discuss and observe the latest developments in image-guided science and technology.

“Connecting a global community in minimally invasive, image-guided medicine, SIR 2015 will feature essential updates on patient-care strategies to help optimize the clinical decisions that interventional radiologists make,” said Jafar Golzarian, MD, program chair and division head of interventional radiology and vascular imaging at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. “The cutting-edge scientific research, sessions, and community of innovative problem solvers in attendance will inspire and energize attendees, so health care providers can make the best decisions for patients.”

The conference will feature more than 400 presentations of peer-reviewed research on interventional radiology and 250 hours in educational programming. Approximately 5,000 attendees will participate in new workshop formats, general sessions, and classroom and hands-on events.

The early bird registration deadline is Jan. 9. To register and for more information, visit the SIR annual meeting page.
