NightShift Radiology has hired Courtney Carter, MD, as the newest physician to join its teleradiology practice.
“To solidify our position as a trusted partner to community-based radiology groups, we constantly seek the best and brightest in the field to empower our clients to be as successful as possible,” said Michael Myers, MD, cofounder of NightShift Radiology. “Dr. Carter’s background will be an invaluable asset to the team as we continue to grow and deliver exceptional service. We are looking forward to her joining the Nightshift family.”
Carter previously served a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine and interned at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Conn. She earned her MD from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and completed a fellowship in cross-sectional imaging with an emphasis on body imaging at the University of California, San Francisco.
“It is exciting to join such a pioneering and innovative practice such as NightShift Radiology that operates with radiologist’s interests in mind, rather than those of investors,” Carter said. “I look forward to contributing to the company’s continued growth as we help make a difference for our clients’ business.”
