The Society of Interventional Radiology’s (SIR) 39th Annual Scientific Meeting will take place March 22–27, 2014, at the San Diego Convention Center. “Convergence,” the meeting’s theme, will focus on diversity and multidimensionality in interventional radiology and include more than 400 presentations and 250 hours in educational programming.

SIR has made a special effort to increase interactivity at this year’s meeting, with plenary sessions like “The Next Big Thing in IR” geared toward exploring new technologies and developments in the shifting healthcare environment. A March 27 clinical symposium offers “How I Do It” sessions in venous disease, embolization and oncology, while an “In the Trenches” series showcases interventional radiologists’ daily challenges at each career stage. Attendees will have an opportunity to connect with leading radiologists in the field at informal “Meet the Professors” sessions.

The early-bird registration deadline is January 10, 2014. To register and for more information, visit SIR
