A new vendor neutral archive (VNA) from Fujifilm helps ease image storage and sharing across different electronic medical records (EMRs). The Synapse VNA integrates data into a single portal to provide a common access point for multiple systems.

“We’ve had a good experience with Synapse VNA, and are very happy with it,” said Steve Roberts, director of Host Systems at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. “It’s a great feeling to know that all types of clinical images can be added to enrich a patient’s medical record. Everyone appreciates this value.”

Synapse VNA can host DICOM and non-DICOM images from various systems while streamlining workflow to control costs and improve patient care. The archive permits sharing and secure access for all authorized users. For more information, visit Fujifilm.
