With radiologists increasingly under pressure to better serve and market to their referring physicians, IDS debuted its AbbaDox CRM version 2.0 at the recent RSNA meeting. Designed for to support mobile Mac, Android, and Blackberry devices, as well as desktop PCs, the application provides tools to help radiologists manage and grow their referring physician relationships.

“In today’s competitive healthcare marketplace, every practice must make maintaining and expanding their referral base a priority,” said Yaniv Dagan, CEO of IDS. “AbbaDox CRM can take much of the time and expense out of this. It helps users focus efforts where potential is greatest and manage a sophisticated campaign all in one comprehensive application.”

An interactive map function allows users to view potential and existing referrers in relation to the provider’s locations. Results can be filtered by medical specialty, current relationship status (whether an existing or potential referrer), and various user-defined fields, such as payer mix. The tool can help identify underserved regions that also hold the greatest potential for establishing new referrer relationships. The map integrates seamlessly with a RIS, HIS, or EHR, extracting referral data to generate trend analysis.

“Many of our existing clients refer to the AbbaDox CRM as an important strategic business tool relied on to track referrals in real time,” Dagan said. “We added the new mapping function to bring even more power to our real-time data. It is extremely useful to assess, plan and measure marketing initiatives. Overlaying real-time data on the geographic map provides executives with an unparalleled tool to effectively compete in their regional markets.”
