Growth_sales Zotec Partners, Indianapolis, has signed a deal with Salina, Kansas-based United Radiology Group (URG) as its revenue cycle management provider.

Servicing central Kansas since 1975, URG is a radiology group with 10 radiologists who provide diagnostic radiological services at 18 hospital locations.

Under the new agreement, Zotec will deliver comprehensive revenue cycle management services to URG using a combination of people, processes, and technology. The services will specifically include compliant charge capture, detailed claims and denials management, provider enrollment and credentialing, continual coding education, nonstop information monitoring, and enhanced business intelligence and analytics tools.

“In radiology billing there is no room for error, especially when it comes to exceptions in the revenue cycle,” said David J. Law, executive vice president of sales and marketing with Zotec. “If unaddressed, the exceptions could negatively impact a practice’s reimbursement. Zotec is able to immediately reconcile claims and address denials in the revenue cycle management system, which means physicians have cleaner claims with faster reimbursement on every procedure.”

“Zotec’s support team gave us a seamless and secure integration, while also lowering our billing costs and decreasing our denial percentages,” said URG President Pamela Davis, MD. “With Zotec’s combination of great customer service, detailed billing processes and sophisticated technology, I am confident we will share a long and successful partnership.”

Founded in 1998, Zotec serves more than 8,000 physicians in all 50 states.
