The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting from May 30 to June 2 in Los Angeles. The society announced that the meeting will be a hybrid event, offering both in-person attendance at the Los Angeles Convention Center and a virtual option for remote participants.

The meeting is expected to bring together 8,000 attendees globally to review the latest scientific developments in the field. According to the announcement, the program will feature new research in oncology, cardiology, and neurosciences, as well as innovations in imaging equipment and instrumentation.

Program Highlights and Focus

The SNMMI 2026 Annual Meeting will focus on the clinical application of new research, including advances in targeted radiopharmaceutical therapies. The event aims to highlight developments that support earlier diagnosis, more personalized treatment, and improved disease management for cancer, heart disease, and neurological disorders, according to the meeting announcement.

The program includes more than 150 scientific and continuing education sessions, 19 satellite symposia, and the Science Pavilion.

Hybrid Attendance Options

For virtual attendees, the meeting will use an interactive platform providing access to live continuing education sessions and on-demand scientific abstracts. The online format will also include a virtual exhibit hall and networking events designed to be accessible for various schedules.
