Visage Imaging Inc, a subsidiary of Pro Medicus Ltd, has released a new edition of the Visage 7 Enterprise imaging platform. Version 7.1.5 offers improved navigation and speed for mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) imaging. Mobile access to imaging results are also available through the Visage Ease tool.

Using server-side processing and cable-broadband network connections, Visage 7 provides immediate multi-modality displays of radiology, cardiology, and non-DICOM images. With 64-bit support for MAC OS X and backend server support for Windows Server 2012 R2, the latest edition features multiple concurrent magnifiers, quadrant navigation, optimized mammography text overlays, and improved compression for more rapid display.

“With 7.1.5, Visage allows imaging organizations the freedom to take back control of women’s imaging, enabling the interpretation of multi-modality breast imaging studies, and all other diagnostic modalities, with a single viewer,” said Sam Hupert, chief executive officer of Visage Imaging and Pro Medicus. “Visage 7 offers organizations a step-change of speed and accessibility that really has no compare due to Visage’s server-side architectural advantages.”
