HP announced at RSNA 2012 that select HP Z Workstations are registered FDA Class I medical image storage devices and deliver the performance, reliability, and expandability required for Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
HP Workstations are used widely in health care environments around the world and are a natural fit for the PACS environment. Workstations are comprised of best-in-class processors, graphics cards, and other components that deliver optimal performance under constant and heavy workloads. This increases PACS functionality, allowing users to meet expanding needs from increases in image size/resolution, ever larger patient data sets, and more integrated medical records.
