Medstreaming is touting its new Clinical Data Management platform (CDM) for the system’s ability to aggregate data from a variety of sources—including EMR, PACS, imaging devices, and non-imaging devices—into one integrated workflow.

“This is like the discovery of the microscope,” said Wael Elseaidy, CEO of Medstreaming. “Physicians, clinical researchers, and administrators will be empowered to slice and dice medical data, and view this information in ways that have never been done before, using visual analytics tools tailored for every clinical specialty.” The company expects the workflow to increase efficiencies in areas like enterprise radiology, cardiology, and women’s health.

The platform structures and warehouses data, allowing big data analysis. In addition, the Graphic Fusion Workflow (GFW) cuts down on manual data entry by relying on data models and repetitive patterns to automate many entries.

“Physicians will no longer have to review hundreds of images and charts to manage patient care,” said Elseaidy. “Medstreaming Clinical Data Management (CDM) will automatically construct an integrated workflow layer that fuses imaging and charting data in customized disease management views, significantly enhancing the speed and quality of the workflow.”
