As the radiology suite becomes increasingly more sophisticated, training tools have followed, taking full advantage of the pioneering techniques of online learning.

The American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) recently incorporated CAE Healthcare’s ultrasound e-learning curriculum into its critical care ultrasound training program. Upon completion of the online course, a clinician will receive certification from the ACCP.

The e-learning curriculum teaches health care practitioners working in either acute or non-acute care environments how to perform a bedside cardiac and non-cardiac ultrasound evaluation. The CAE curriculum contains 14 hours of content, high-quality 3D animations, clips, and graphics, and more than 750 interactive questions. The curriculum is module based and allows the user to progress at their own pace.
