Siemens has debuted the Acuson X600, the latest addition to its Acuson X family of mid-range ultrasound systems. The cost-effective system includes technologies migrated from Siemens’ premium ultrasound units, with clinical applications in general imaging, obstetrics and gynecology, and cardiology.
Features include real-time spatial compounding and tissue contrast technique for artifact reduction and improved border detection, as well as three new volume transducers which provide enhanced 3D/4D image quality for clear visualization of complex fetal and maternal anatomy. A suite of knowledge-based workflow tools reduce keystrokes and minimize interoperator variability for improved productivity.
