Carestream Health announces that it will exhibit its Lux 35 Detector at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual conference, which takes place from November 28-December 2 in Chicago. Weighing around 5 pounds (including the battery), the Lux 35 Detector is lightweight, glass-free, and wireless—a detector redesigned with ergonomic features including beveled edges, rounded corners, and built-in finger grips for less strain and stress on radiographers and a more comfortable exam for patients.

What’s more, Carestream officials say, the Lux 35 is Carestream’s lightest detector to date, making it easier for radiographers to transport and perform beside exams, according to company officials. It supports a variety of image processing options to assist radiologists, including tube and line visualization, pneumothorax visualization, EVP Plus, bone suppression, and more.

“The lightweight Lux 35 Detector helps ease stress on radiographers, especially when performing mobile imaging,” says Jill Hamman, worldwide marketing manager, global x-ray solutions at Carestream. “The detector’s ergonomic design allows for easier handling and provides a more comfortable exam for the patient.”
