The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) has recognized the teleradiology practice vRad with a Gold Quest award for its Radiology Patient Care Indices. The honor recognizes the web site that best contributes to patient and physician education on the basis of creativity, innovation, and execution.
The RPC Indices offer benchmarking metrics compiled from vRad’s clinical database of more than 24 million imaging studies from over 2,000 facilities in all 50 states. The data, normalized on key variables such as geography and facility size, enables hospitals, radiology groups, and health systems to assess their operational efficiency and patient care quality against national averages and relevant peer groups.
