TeraRecon highlighted its diverse viewing and interoperability capabilities at the annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society meeting in Chicago.
The company demonstrated broad applications of its iNteract+ technology displayed in a variety of viewing scenarios and across devices, in addition to emphasizing its imaging expertise and the availability of full clinical toolsets. TeraRecon’s solution allows for image-enablement of the patient record and simple mobile device access, as well as advanced visualization for image-intensive specialty workflows. It also facilitates image sharing, with automated association of the imaging order and seamless PACS integration, and offers PACS overlay or deconstructed PACS viewing scenarios for diagnostic interpretation.
“We selected TeraRecon for our diagnostic reading viewer after a careful clinical evaluation that focused on ease of use and clinical functionality,” said Rick Padelford, executive vice president at San Diego Imaging, which serves eight hospitals in San Diego County, Calif. “The intelligent bandwidth optimization and ability to function seamlessly with our VNA in a real-time cache less manner were key factors in our technical evaluation process.”
