Ultrasound provider, SonoSite, Bothell, Wash, has announced that CFO, Mike Schuh will be retiring at the end of the year. Marcus Smith was named as Schuh’s replacement.

Smith started at SonoSite in 2007 as vice president of corporate strategy and growth planning and eventually rose to vice president and general manager of cardiovascular disease management. Before SonoSite, Smith held financial and sales positions at Philips Medical Systems, Xerox, and J.P. Morgan.

Smith’s new title is senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer. While the new position was effective August 10th, 2010, Schuh will remain with the company until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.
