The Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) is now accepting applications for five scholarships to attend the 2015 RLI Leadership Summit, Thriving in Changing Times. The Summit will be held August 6–9 at Babson College in Wellesley, Mass.
Aimed at radiology residents and fellows looking to advance their careers, the 4-day summit includes training sessions and opportunities to educate attendees on the shifts in the health care business and how to benefit from these changes. Sessions will be hosted by experts and facilitators and follow an interactive format.
“It is important that young physicians be given the same opportunity as others to rise above their peers and become better providers and leaders,” said Cynthia S. Sherry, MD, medical director of the Radiology Leadership Institute and chair of the American College of Radiology Commission on Leadership and Practice Development. “That’s why the RLI Leadership Summit Resident and Fellow Scholarship was developed.”
Scholarships cover the cost of registration, housing, and travel for recipients. Applicants must be enrolled in the RLI and be a resident or fellow in an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education program. Applications are due by February 27, 2015 and require a signed letter of recommendation. For more information, review the RLI scholarship application.
