The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) is seeking applicants for its 8th Annual Toshiba Young Investigator Awards (YIA). The awards recognize top radiology residents and cardiology fellows who have completed a training program within the last 5 years.

Applicants must submit an abstract and a 1,000 word manuscript detailing research concerning technology or clinical applications of cardiovascular CT. Five finalists will be selected to give an oral presentation at SCCT’s 9th annual meeting July 10 to 13, 2014, in San Diego. Finalists will receive a complimentary year of SCCT membership, free registration for the 9th annual meeting, and a $1,000 travel stipend.

Two winners will be announced at the meeting. Their manuscripts will be highlighted on the SCCT conference website, and they will be eligible for priority peer-reviewed publication in the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (JCCT).
