A one-day course designed to help clinicians gain expertise about the latest technique for radiosurgery for the prostate has been set for October 30 in Sunnyvale, Calif.

Hosted by the Accuray Training Department in partnership with Alan Katz, M.D., and Michael Santoro, M.D., the one-day radiosurgery for prostate course is designed to assist a CyberKnife facility in starting or expanding a CyberKnife program for prostate cancer treatment.

The course will cover the practical aspects of hypo-fractionated prostate radiosurgery, and, upon completion, participants will possess enough detailed knowledge of this form of treatment to successfully start their own program. The course will also feature live demonstrations and treatment planning sessions for physicist-attendees.
