Atlanta-based Neurostar Solutions Inc., a provider of outsourced clinical image management solutions, today announced the incorporation of Pittsburgh-based M*Modal’s advanced Speech Understanding technology into its existing Virtual Radiology Network (VRN).
The companies say that by combining services, the reporting accuracy and turn-around time already possible with the VRN will be enhanced to deliver increased satisfaction to the end users.
Neurostar’s VRN is designed to power virtual radiology networks with its architecture and workflow enabling imaging centers, hospitals, and physicians’ offices to share image data with a virtual community of radiologists and referring physicians. The VRN is a full-featured Software As A Service (SAAS) offering that is completely web-based and hosted by Neurostar. According to the company, the integration of M*Modal’s AnyModal CDS will deliver more complete reports in less time and reduce the chance of errors.
Radiologists will have the ability to dictate without any change in workflow, the company continued.
