The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America recently posted a three-part video titled “A Closer Look at The Value of MRIs” on its Web site as part of an extensive resource guide.

This video includes footage of a person with multiple sclerosis (MS) who offers a first-hand account on the experience of undergoing an MRI, a neurologist who explains the modality’s role in monitoring disease progression, and an MSAA representative who talks about the financial resources available through MSAA for those seeking their first or follow-up MRI.

It is all part of MSAA’s MSi (Multiple Sclerosis Information) initiative, which provides support to individuals through an extensive library of on-demand video programming, web casts, professionally monitored chat rooms and additional interactive communication features.

The development and implementation of MSi is made possible through the funding support of EMD Serono, Inc. and Pfizer Inc, Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Medtronic Foundation, and The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey.
