MedInformatix, a provider of electronic health record (EHR) and radiology information systems, has announced that Rick Arnold, senior director of information technology at Fairfax Radiological Consultants (FRC), will become president of the MedInformatix Radiology Client Advisory Board for 2015. FRC is the largest private radiology practice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, supporting hospitals and outpatient centers throughout northern Virginia.
The Client Advisory Board was launched in 2013. It includes representatives among MedInformatix’s clients and other leaders in the EHR and radiology industry who advise company leadership on customer service initiatives, new product enhancements, and other matters involving client relations. The board approved Arnold’s appointment at the fall 2014 meeting in Austin, Tex.
“I look forward to leading our board and working with MedInformatix and industry leaders on the important challenges facing radiology practices today,” said FRC’s Arnold. “As we move beyond meaningful use to tackle topics such as ICD-10 and others, our board will offer valuable insight on the informatics issues facing our industry.”
