DR Systems will showcase a new feature for eMix, its HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based medical information exchange platform, at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America in Chicago next month.

A new Secure Web Link capability enables physicians and patients to upload medical information, including large diagnostic imaging files, via a one-click button feature that can be added to a provider’s website. The system automatically identifies and transmits files to the designated recipient.

Seattle Children’s Hospital has used the eMix platform since 2010 and was one of the first facilities to adopt the new feature. “We are already seeing the advantages of empowering healthcare facilities to upload images directly through our website,” said Adam Kielski, director of enterprise imaging for the hospital. “It identifies us as a leader in new solutions for both patients and providers, that we can now allow anyone with web access to use eMix and securely send us radiological images.”

Visitors to the DR Systems booth can register to receive the new feature free of charge, for use with an eMix subscription. For more information, visit DR Systems.
