Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc., of Stamford, Conn., today announced that it has appointed Hiroaki Tada as the company’s new president and CEO.
Tada’s predecessor, Makoto Kawaguchi, was promoted to general manager of Fujifilm’s procurement division in Tokyo.
With more than 35 years of experience working for Fuji, Tada will oversee all U.S. sales and service for Fujifilm’s Medical Imaging, Science Systems, and Non-Destructive Testing divisions. Tada will also take on the responsibility of leading global marketing and research and development for Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS and women’s healthcare solutions.
Tada’s career began with Fujifilm’s Photographic Products and Graphic Systems Departments, and has since included diverse roles of increasing responsibility for various Fujifilm subsidiaries throughout Japan, Europe and North America. Before joining Fujifilm Medical Systems USA, Tada had been president and CEO of Fujifilm Graphic Systems USA, Inc. since October 2003.
