Outpatient diagnostic imaging service provider Alliance Imaging Inc. recently announced its acquisition of mobile PET/CT provider Medical Outsourcing Services, based in Naperville, Ill.
The total purchase price is expected to total approximately $20 million and assumed indebtedness.
According to Alliance, PET/CT is becoming more of a critical clinical tool in cancer detection and treatment staging as clinical indications continue to expand. The company believes there will continue to be strong, overall volume growth in PET/CT.
MOS currently generates approximately $22 million of annual net revenue and serves approximately 90 clients in nine states, including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
